Build it

Earlier levels of the course explain what iMBrace is and show a use case working end to end. This level has you build one yourself.
What this level gets you
By the end you can build a small working return desk on a test organisation, and make it wait for a person’s decision, with whatever AI coding tool you already use. Nobody needs to hand you source code to get there - you need a test organisation, a key, and your coding tool connected over MCP.
- Set up your coding tool - a test organisation and key, and your coding tool connected to the organisation. Do this first.
- Vibe coding on iMBrace - Build it - the written tutorial. Follow it in order; it is written to be followed once, start to finish, on a real test organisation.
- Make it wait for a person - a second sitting that starts from the finished desk and makes it ask a person by email and wait for the answer before anything is promised to the customer.
- Working with an AI coding tool - the stance and guardrails that keep what your tool builds trustworthy.
Before you start
- A test organisation and an API key. Never a production key.
- Any AI coding tool that can hold an MCP connection and read a text file. This tutorial names none, on purpose - it works with whichever one you already use.
- About an hour for the tutorial. Make it wait for a person is a second sitting, and needs two email addresses you can read.
After this level
Level 3, Build it well, is the method behind the habits this page teaches: why each one matters, what it looks like when it is missing, and how to tell the difference before a customer does. Level 2 gets you a working agent. Level 3 is what makes one worth shipping.
